Job Description

We are looking to recruit a dual Site Restaurant Manager to take responsibility for our restaurants in Inverurie. As our Restaurant Manager you will think about every aspect of the business - from how to build and develop a brilliant team, to boosting salesand revenues, maintaining and raising the standards of service, which ensures the highest levels of guest satisfaction.Duties

  • Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
  • Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
  • Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development
  • Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
  • Coordinate the operation of the restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team
  • Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints
  • Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
  • Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
  • Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements.
Person SpecificationThe position would suit a driven, passionate and talented Restaurant/Events Manager, that has an eye for detail, that is standards driven, and can provide our guests with a memorable guest experience within all of our food outlets.You will be a hands on manager, leading by example, and you will the face and host for our fast paced food outlets. The qualities we are looking for: -
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and work under pressure, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business
  • Good leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading our small but excellent team
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal & customer skills to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for our guests
