Job Description

Did you know wehave been awarded top UK & Global Employer 5 Years Running!This role will see you working with our Scotframe brand, a leading supplier of award winning timber frame kits for self-build and commercial home developers across the UK and internationally.Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Read and interpret drawings, supporting the fabrication and movement of prefabricated panels and components
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times
  • Maintain focus on targets to service customer demands and meet deadlines
  • Maintain both company and legislative quality standards
  • Ensure work equipment/machinery is maintained in line with daily/weekly/monthly maintenance checklists
  • Ensure all areas of work/material storage are clean and tidy
What skills and experience are we looking for
  • Previous experience in similar role or timber industry (preferred)
  • Good literacy and numerical skills or relevant experience
  • Ability to read, understand and convert drawings into completed components correctly
  • Ability to adopt and adapt to changes in procedures, working practices or policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
