B7 First Contact Practitioners MSK Physiotherapist Aberdeenshire37.5 hours Permanent (Consideration will be given to part time applicants)Location will be discussed at interview but most probably in central Aberdeenshire.An exciting new opportunity has arisn within the Aberdeenshire Physiotherapy service for a B7 Musculoskeletal physiotherapist to work within GP practices, as well as remotely, to support practices as a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapists as well as within the existing MSK service.We are looking for a Physiotherapist with significant knowledge, skills and experience in the management of patients presenting with a wide range of acute, complex and chronic conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with other Primary Care Practitioners, using highly specialised clinical reasoning skills. You will be taking initial history, clinical assessment, order appropriate investigations to formulate an effective treatment plan, make differential diagnosis, onward referrals and discharges.The role will work closely with other B7 physiotherapists and B8a Advanced Practice Physiotherapists working in Primary Care and will be supported by a B8a Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, a Physio team Coordinator and a Lead Physiotherapist. The successful candidates will be responsible for MSK Physiotherapy staff working in the area and will have close links to the rest of the physiotherapy service in the area.NHS Grampian Physiotherapy teams cover the North East of Scotland serving a region from the Cairngorms to the North Sea including Coastal Moray and Aberdeenshire.
