• The Senior Cloud Support Engineer leads the implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and security solutions, can understand customer requirements and is able to design effective cloud infrastructure solutions that empower customers to work more securelyand efficiently. They can confidently design large parts of a cloud infrastructure solution with oversight from a Principal Cloud engineer and understand how they combine with others to form a complete system

• The Senior Cloud Support Engineer ensures any technical issues met on delivery or support by the cloud and associate Cloud engineers are investigated and resolved and if required, escalated to a Principal cloud engineer

• You will be responsible for the continuous improvement for build processes and operational customer documentation and proactively recommending improvements for these processes and must be able to communicate effectively both externally and internally toensure projects are delivered to the customer’s satisfaction

• As part of the role, you are required to take part in an on-call rota for a week every month, on average, and will be required to travel to customer sites as required. You will also work on 3rd line support tickets as part of an escalation resolver groupfor cloud technologies escalated from the Service Delivery Team and to resolve these in a timely and professional manner according to the customer service level agreements

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent and demonstrable experience in configuring and supporting networking technologies to establish hybrid on-premises and cloud connectivity

• Excellent and demonstrable experience in configuring and supporting cloud native and hybrid on-premises identities

• Excellent and demonstrable experience in delivering and supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies

• Demonstrable experience in migrating customers to Azure and Microsoft 365

• Demonstrable experience with Azure cloud management, automation and monitoring tools

• Demonstrable experience working within Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix would be beneficial

• Demonstrable experience working within the Professional Services industry would be beneficial

• Existing Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certification or working towards certification would be beneficial
