Your future employer is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Field Service Engineer to join their growing team, primarily working on commercial catering equipment. The ideal candidate will be someone who is self motivated, pro-active, and is eagerto learn. We are looking for someone with some base knowledge in engineering, either in electrical, plumbing or gas, who will be looking to work towards their FGas, and Comcat qualifications. They are offering a company vehicle, a company pension scheme andan excellent 4 week training programme.Given the nature of this position, we are offering a strong package of £26-27k per annum for the ideal candidate, with respective pay rises as you progress and learn. This position is Monday to Friday, with 1 in 6 weekends (on call) which will be paid at anovertime rate.The successful candidate will ideally be located in Inverness, there is a lot of driving involved in the role, as you will be covering a large area in Scotland.The expected duties for the successful Trainee engineer are as follows:* Full training programme, training courses support in the field from your senior engineer* Working on a variety of ovens, grills, fryers, and other commercial equipment * Training staff on sites showing the operational features of the equipment once it is installed* Liaising with the service desk to ensure calls are completed* Working towards a first-time-fixSkills and experience required:* Basic understanding of electrical engineering, gas, or plumbing* An eagerness to learn and progress within their career* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Excellent problem solving skillsFull in-house training will be provided for this position, as will all tools, and a tablet and phone.
