Job Description

JOB TITLE: Sales Account ManagerLOCATION: Ilminster OutskirtsSALARY: CompetitiveHOURS: Full or part time considered (minimum of 25 hours per week)BENEFITS: 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, Company Pension, free parking, development opportunities, fun and friendly team environment.THE COMPANY: A family run wholesale business with an innovative and friendly company ethos. Supplying businesses and consumers with a bespoke range of products.THE ROLE: Seeking a motivated sales professional capable of converting leads into sales. This is quite a warm sales position with no targets, and not focused on pressurised sales. You will be responsible for following up on leads with customerseither by phone or email, therefore this position will suit a confident communicator with sales abilities, however, the products really do sell themselves!KEY DUTIES:

  • Contacting new, existing and potential clients on the phone and with follow up emails regarding products.
  • Keeping customers up to date of new arrivals and special offers.
  • Managing a regular client base.
  • Generating new business.
  • In time (if you wish) the role can involve visiting customers face to face and at exhibitions.
THE CANDIDATE: You will be a highly motivated individual with the ability to identify and talk to potential customers and pick up on their buying signals. You will be able to recognise the opportunity to up sell and cross sell and be a highlyconfident communicator. The successful candidate will have a background in sales, customer service with upselling and cross selling duties or previous account management experience.
