Due to growing product demand, my client; a leading distribution company,are now seeking a new team member to join theirsmall but mighty Marketing and Communications team.This is a hands-on role with responsibility for implementing a clear marketing strategy for UK and International markets with the opportunity to contribute & make suggestions for new initiatives which build on the current plansResponsibilitiesDesigning and producing adverts, web graphics and POS for a variety of sales-led and customer-focussed initiatives. Co-ordinating & organising the day-to-day distribution to clients of marketing materials, literature and POS merchandise. Administer the companys digital & Social Media platforms -including Paid Advertising by working with the internal teams across the business to develop content. Create effective email marketing campaigns. Create newsletters, brochures, e-shots and adverts. Edit and manage the company website. Produce engaging content for the website and social media Supporting direct B2B marketing campaigns. Responsible for the preparation & scheduling of training courses Providing support & assisting with company events, customer & supplier incentives. Creating and monitoring press releases for both web and print in trade publications Updating and maintaining customer and product databases Assisting with POS stock management.Work closely & support the Marketing & Communications Manager with all marketing duties within traditional and digital marketing strategy, as well as being involved with Media Relations and support the organisation and planning of events.Essential skills & personal qualities High level of numeracy and literacy skills and 5 x GCSEs (A-C) A digitally-savvy person with previous experience in a creative marketing role with both print & digital & the management of web content Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and a keen eye for design Strong copy-writing skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy with good English skills Able to use their own initiative and work effectively without supervision Good interpersonal skills Able to work accurately under pressure Exceptional communication skills Positive and engaged attitudeDesirable Skills and Qualifications Marketing Qualification, relevant degree or sound understanding of marketing principles At least 1 year experience (voluntary or paid) in a Marketing Role A strong portfolio of previous work Knowledge / passion for creating video contentThis could be a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in marketing who has previously demonstrated creative and critical thinking through passion projects or educational settings.***Due to the rural location of the office candidates will either need to drive and have their own vehicle or alternatively live within a commutable distance and be able to get a lift to and from the office***
