Job Description

Marketing, Communications and Content Manager Ilminster (flexible/hybrid remote working with some office travel available) £40,000 - £45,000 per annumAre you a hands on and competent Mar-Comms Manager who has experience in creating quality content, to include press releases, blog posts, white-papers etcDo you have experience in a similar role within Manufacturing, Engineering or TechnicalIf so then wed like to hear from you!Yolk Recruitment are currently partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation to hire an experienced Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications and sitting as part of the senior management team, youll be responsible fordriving dissemination and communication activities, executing a marketing plan and interfacing internally and externally to key stakeholders.Heres what youll be doing:

  • Implementing the company Marcom strategy and creating marketing content, working closely with the CCO, Head of Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Engineering divisions.
  • Driving creation of blog posts, white papers, presentations and supporting sales tools such as brochures and data sheets in cooperation with Head of Marketing and Communications.
  • Managing the companys presence on social media through marketing campaigns aligned with the business objectives.
  • Supporting the business presence to conferences and tradeshows, preparing content for the booths.
  • Ensure that the website, communication material and all marketing campaign strategies are updated on a regular basis.
  • Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect.
The skills and experience youll bring to the role:
  • Youll be a proactive and creative person with experience in a similar role, preferably within Manufacturing, Engineering or a similar field.
  • You have excellent written communication skills
  • Youll be a strong copy writer with excellent attention to detail and a structured writing style
  • Youll have experience in creating digital and traditional content, growing a social audience and creative copy-writing
  • Experience with marketing software and familiar with graphics software packages
  • Youll have experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
