Job Description

We are now recruiting for our client Peak period until end of December 2023 for rotating shifts in West Hallam Ilkeston, so come and join our friendly and growing team as a full time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits! Typical working hours as a full time Warehouse Operative:We have 2 rotating shifts on offer for you which we are looking to place for Rotating shift Monday to Friday:Shift 1

  • 05:30am until 14:00pm AND 14:00pm until 22:30pm which will rotate weekly
  • Total 40 hours a week
Shift 2
  • 06:00am until 14:00 and 14:00pm until 22:00 which will rotate weekly
  • Total 37.5 hours a week
There is limited bus/public transport services by the location as they do not run during the hours of the 06:00am start and 22:00pm finish so candidates will have to ensure they make their own transport arrangements if they apply! Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:
  • Pay Rate: £11.20 per hour
  • Back shifts overtime only applies after 40 hours / 37.5 hours
  • Overtime rates for Saturday £15.63 & Sunday £20.84
  • Bank holidays are standard working days
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
  • Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
  • Using a handheld scanner to sort items
  • Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
  • Unloading containers
  • Available PPT/FLT training
  • Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Requirements:
  • PPE is required, but we can provide this
