Job Description

Are you looking for a job offering an Immediate start with weekly pay If so, we are now looking for a full time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits!Your pay rate as a Warehouse Operative will be £10.69 - £11.07 per hour depending on shift (overtime rate applies after 37.5hours) Typical working hours as a Warehouse Operative:We have 2 shifts available i.e.: Rotational shift:

  • £11.07
  • AM shift: 05:30am / 06:00am until 13:30pm / 14:00pm | PM shift: 14:00pm until 22:00pm Shift hours rotate between AM and PM shifts on a weekly basis
  • You will be working 5out of 7 shifts from Monday to Friday(37.5hours)
Fixed Back Shift:
  • £10.69p/h
  • 12:30 pm until 20:30 pm
  • You will be working 5 out of 7 shifts from Sunday to Thursday (37.5hours)
Please ensure you have assessed your transport options as there is limited public transport, only the Fixed Back Shift can use public transport, while there is no option to use public transport for the rotating shift due to the shift hours. Your role as a full time Warehouse Operative:
  • Picking and Packing items ready for distribution (Paint, Wine, appliances)
  • Using a handheld scanner to sort items
  • Manual Lifting involved (upto 23 KG)
  • Unloading containers and Trailers
  • Available PPT/FLT training
  • Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Requirements:
  • PPE is required, but we are able to provide this if required
There are opportunities from TEMPORARY to PERMANENT!What are we looking for:
  • You need to be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
  • Understand that this is not a part time role and that we do not offer part time hours
  • You have suitable transport to the warehouse (DE7 6HE)
Benefits as a full time Warehouse Operative:
  • Overtime is paid at a premium rate 1.5x & 2x Basic rate £10.30p/h
  • Temp to perm opportunities
  • Immediate starts are available
  • Weekly pay on a Friday
  • Get up to 28 days paid holiday per year (pro-rata)
  • No experience is needed as training will be provided
