Job Description

Upholsterer Ethero Derby are currently Recruiting for Upholsterer to join our client based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Our client are market leaders in the manufacture of upholstery and soft furnishings to a number of leading high street retailers and leisure industry. Having one of the largest fabric workrooms in the UK enabling them to offer customers exceptional flexibility and a turnaround of 14 days from offer to delivery. They pride themselves on the excellent customer service they provide. You will be Upholstering a variety of models and units according to specification; whilst meeting production and quality standards. Liaise effectively with Compliance and Health and Safety Managers and adhere to their instructions and requirements.Duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • High degree of upholstery skills.
  • Good knowledge of fabric, foam and wood used in upholstery.
  • A strong upholstery background with a keen eye to detail.
  • Accuracy in all work to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Previous experience of air powered staple guns and hand tools.
  • Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate reliability and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Committed to achieving the targets of the department whilst working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department.

Two Shifts Available: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00 & working until 12:00 friday. Monday to Thursday 06:45-15:45 & working until 11:45 friday.
