Job Description

If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the UK Industrial & Process Managers opportunity covering UK nationally, but maybe useful for someone based in Midlands area or South Yorkshire.How will you support usThis role is working with Saint-Gobain PAM UK to increase market share using innovative systems in Major Pipeline, complex Water and Waste Water projects and to identify opportunities in niche industrial markets to drive and deliver strategic sales for our unique product ranges.We are currently seeking to recruit for this role due to a recent retirement of our previous appointee of 35years (there are big shoes to fill), Hence this role being very much high impact to the business unit we have arranged support of the previous appointee too shadow train the successful candidate for the first six months in position.We see 60% of this roles time allocation being focused with identifying and exploiting the development of Pipe & Fitting Opportunities in the niche market sectors in which we havent yet explored as a utilities team. This will be targeting sectors such as (but wont limit too) to Industrial applications (Hydro, Fire Mains etc.) and Process Applications such as Water & Sewerage Treatment Works.The remaining 40% of your time allocation we see acting as a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on behalf of the Water Utility business unit, to deliver at a regional level strategic sales of Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings and Access Covers and Frames systems for Water & Sewer product ranges.In the role as a UK Industrial & Process Application Manager you will;* Maximising sales revenue and profit. Identify and develop new market opportunities in collaboration with Marketing and Product Development & Innovation teams.* Deliver value propositions for Consultants, Contractors and Network owners. * Drive and improve performance and resource allocation through effective use of the sales Funnel and sales pipeline plans. * Develop an understanding of the competitors solutions to the point of lowering cost for our major projects & Identify new market opportunities working alongside Marketing and Product Development teams* Lead by example to demonstrate through the use of sales tools such as Salesforce as well as demonstrating the SG attitudes & behaviours. * Water Company Key Account Management to Drive sales revenue and margin* Have a clear understanding of Our Strategic Plan for the business.* Be accountable and assist the delivery of framework tenders and major projects.What kind of person are we looking forFirst and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working.
