QSHE ManagerDerby Up to £60,000 (DoE)ASAP StartMacildowie are excited to be recruiting for a qualified and experienced Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Manager (QSHE Manager) on a permanent basis starting ASAP! Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Construction industry and are very passionate about sustainability, so we are looking for someone who shares the companys vision and values!The QSHE Manager will take on the responsibility for setting, delivering and evaluating the Quality and HS&E processes to ensure compliance to all legislation and standards. You will also lead on the Sites sustainability agenda and reporting.Role & Responsibilities include:Responsible for coordinating the activities required to meet and maintain our quality ISO9001, Safety ISO45001 and environmental ISO14001 standardsDefine and manage the Safety and Environmental strategy for the site.Define and manage the Quality Assurance strategy for the site.Understand and comply with all applicable requirements of the Companys ISO management systems as documented in the manuals, operating procedures and work instructionsContinue to be aware and up-to-date with new legislation whilst maintaining a working knowledge of all HSE legislation and developments that affect our industryAlongside the environemtnal strategy you will drive the sustainability agenda and reporting.Ensure that safe practices and procedures are followed by all employeesEnsure risk assessments are completed whilst always considering how risks can be reducedOutline safe operational practices whilst identifying all relevant hazardsRecord all incidents and accidents whilst also being the point of contact for any investigationsDrive the Visible Felt Leadership safety assessment process.Work with the key stakeholders in the Group to align the Safety and Environmental activities on site to the Groups SHE Strategy and KPIS.Organise, implement and facilitate an annual safety event for all company employees in line with head office brief Manage the documentation and support the performance of product testing to ensure compliance with respective regulatory bodies.Drive root cause and the corrective actions across the three disciplinesComplete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required, in order to meet KPIsIdeal Candidate & Skills:NEBOSH qualificationUnderstanding of the relevant ISO Systems & be a trained internal auditor or have relevant auditing experience Experience in a similar role is essentialKnowledge of LEAN principles Strong Technical Knowledge for products manufactured as well as a comprehensive understanding of the Lean Manufacturing Principles and how to embed into all areas of the factoryNumerical, Verbal & Literacy Skills.
