Job Description

Process Engineer - FMCG Manufacturer Reference: Jo2532/NH/REEDSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Pension + BonusDays based - Monday to FridayLocation: IlkestonThe CompanyMy client is a world leader in the development of specialist high performance packaging solutions and is extremely well established, with over 60 years of manufacturing experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacityand is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into several blue chip manufacturing organisations with a reputation for product quality and reliability.Key Skills

  • Experience in improving the quality of final product.
  • HNC Qualified or above Engineering.
  • FMCG Experience
The successful applicant will have experience in process improvement, focused on optimising efficiencies and performance in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will need a working knowledge from an engineering point of view of process machinery;your background will be in and around statistical analysis using modern manufacturing techniques such as; six sigma and incorporating knowledge of Kaizen, leading to root cause analysis. Your role will be crucial in the continuous improvement of this in depthmanufacturing process; therefore you will have regular interaction between all levels from manufacturing shop floor to director.
