Job Description

Astute Recruitment are partnering with a brilliant business based in Ilkeston to help find a part time Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role is ideal for someone who has a passion for finance in a supportive working environment.Duties include:

  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Processing of CIS invoices
  • Knowledge of CIS rules and regulations desirable but not essential
  • Chase any outstanding debt
  • Chase any outstanding retentions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payment processing onto the online banking system
  • Project costing
  • Further ad hoc duties
Personal skills and preferred experience to include:
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Efficient communicator both written and verbal
  • Effective team player
  • Ability to work to concise deadlines
Benefits and hours:
  • Salary up to £24,000 full time equivalent
  • 20 hour working week with a view to increasing these hours in the future
  • Office hours of 8:30am until 5:30pm
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
