SF Recruitment are looking for a HGV Maintenance Controller to join a key client of ours based in Ilkeston. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, our ideal team member will have excellent technical knowledge of LCVs and HGVs, as well as previous experiencein the workshop. You will also be well organised with practical problem-solving skills. This is a full time, permanent role (office based) working Monday - Friday paying up to £28,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities will include - Updating all vehicle breakdowns & defects following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to customers. - Manage suppliers and raising of order numbers to ensure our costs are controlled. - Ensure that all systems are fully updated with accurate and clear information so that CVS Live has the correct customer visibility. - Manage forward service planning and daily VOR management in line with KPI requirements. - Effectively plan and organise time to maximise productivity and efficiency for the individual, the workshops and the customers. - Ensure that any rechargeable work is notified to the customers following the company procedures and time guidelines. - Answering incoming calls diligently and project a positive and professional image at all times. We would love to hear from you if: - You can demonstrate strong Transport and Legislation Knowledge. - You have hands on experience in a workshop working with LCVs. - Youre highly organised and attentive to detail. - You possess excellent interpersonal skills. - Youre a practical problem solver. - You have the ability to work on own initiative within a team framework.
