Job Description

Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required on a permanent night shift (Sunday to Thursday) for a processing company based in Derbyshire, Derby and Nottingham border.As an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer you will join a dedicated and experienced (predominantly mechanically biased) team on perm nights (Sun to Thurs), and your role is to assistant in the maintenance of all plant, equipment and services so they are maintained in line with the companies PPM and safety systems. This is a heavy manufacturing type environment so experience in mining, quarrying, aggregates, or foundries or similar would be desirable.BENEFITS

  • £35k Basic + 20% Shift
  • Sun – Thurs – Nights (10pm to 6.30am)
  • Electrical Maintenance Engineer responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM`s in line with CMMS.
  • Respond to breakdowns in a quick, safe and efficient manner to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Suggest and implement plant improvements.
  • Monitor and request spares to maintain plant and equipment.
  • Complete documentation accurately.
  • Take part in improvement projects to improve machine/process reliability.
  • Attend daily toolbox talks.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ideally qualified in electrical engineering to Level 3 or above.
  • Skilled in electrical fault finding, inverter changes, controls work, new motor installs etc
  • Ideally apprenticeship trained or hold solid experience in a similar role.
  • Happy to work perm nights.
  • Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing type role advantageous.
