The CompanyA leading global manufacturing company based in Devon, serving clients throughout several sectors including aerospace, defence, safety, automotive, marine, medical, energy and electronicWhat is the purpose of the Quality Manager roleThe Quality Assurance Manager will take direct managerial responsibility for quality matters at a busy manufacturing site and extensive domestic and overseas supply chain.What will be the responsibilities of the Quality Manager* Overall responsibility for compliance to established Quality Management System in line with ISO9001:2015* Monitoring and communicating all relevant quality metrics within the company* Responsible for the Management of the internal and supplier audit program* Hosting of customer and compliance audits* Product and process change control* Establishing root cause of non-conformities and completion of 8D, CARs and follow ups to ensure effectiveness of actions taken* Direct communications with customers on quality issues and complaints* Monitoring of supplier performance ensuring all agreed actions are followed up* Work alongside and supervise a small quality team* Assist with the generation of PPAP, ISIR and FAI documents; experience with the use of metrology equipment is desirable though not essentialWhat skills and experience will the Quality Manager have* Experience of a similar role in the manufacturing or supply chain sector* Up to date knowledge of ISO9001:2015* Ability to mentor and influence in relation to quality matters* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal* Excellent attention to detail and accuracyWhat will the Quality Manager get in return* £30k to £40k DOE* 30 days holiday PLUS bank holidays* Option to work 4-day week 7am to 4.45pm* Option to work 5-day week 8am to 4.30pm and 8am to 1pm on Friday* Flexitime
