If that resonates with you, join us!Role Summary:Support the maintenance and effectiveness of the site QMS within the shop floor through direct management of all functions within the QA Batch Release department. Position is also responsible for all products released from Pall Ilfracombe.Line Management of all staff within the QA Batch Release department.Development and maintenance of all QA Batch Release procedures and processes.Efficient and timely acceptance of components and release of products.Maintenance, development and execution of internal audit programme. Own the Non-Conformity Reporting (NCR) process, root cause analysis, quarantine and disposition of product. Support of customer audits.Main Responsibilities:Line Management Responsibility: QA Technicians Financial/Budget Responsibility: Overtime reporting to Quality ManagerAdditional Responsibilities:Line Management of QA Batch Release department Performance and Development management.Daily management of task allocation ensuring On Time Delivery (OTD) is maintained. Critical metric setting and management aligned to organisational objectives.Daily Management Ensure the release process is being maintained and issues resolved efficiently. Daily management walk ensuring GEMBA evidence to handle daily tasks. Management of NCR process and visual management board. Collate and present daily critical metric metrics for the daily management meeting. Internal audit programme is being maintained and effective.Operational Management Lead NCR processes; Facilitate the closures of NCRs in a timely manner, assure root cause analysis and the effective implementation of robust CAPAs. CAPA Verification of Effectiveness to assure no recurrence. Continuously work to ensure QA processes are efficient and functional to meet Pall Ilfracombe requirements. Provide Manufacturing Quality Trend Charts/Analysis and suggest/implement improvements based on the trends and lean manufacturing principles, where applicable initiate Kaizen events. Supervise industrial trends and customer audit findings to ensure Pall Ilfracombe is meeting customer expectations.Qualifications/Competencies/Skills:Degree or equivalent in a suitable subject area; Scientific, Engineering or Quality related subject ISO9001 Internal Audit qualification CMI/ ILM Level 3 or higher Working towards CQI and/or CMI membershipManagement or Supervisory experience Experience working within a regulated and operational environment Batch Release experience within a Quality organisation Practical knowledge and experience of ISO9001 Experience of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Lead Continual Improvement activitiesBenefits:Competitive salary, Life Assurance, 4% ER pension, Annual bonus*Please note, in order to apply for the role, you must complete the short online application directly via the PALL website using the Apply Now link
