ResponsibilitiesLine Management Responsibility:* Provide Engineering support to the Manufacturing engineering team, Production, Setters and the Maintenance department.* Support Operations, repairing lines and failed batches and investigate.Financial/Budget Responsibility:* Raise Purchase Requisitions.* Advise on machinery or component costs, i.e. spare parts, new equipment and tooling.* Supply and cost of consumables for Production machinery.* Identify Capital Projects (CAPEX).Main duties:* Analytical ability within a similar environment.* Participate in Operational Excellence activities including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events.* Support production lines in vital areas of the business producing quality critical product.* Technical assessment of production, equipment and processes.* Conduct investigations to resolve any internal and external issues* Build and complete corrective actions.* Maintain and build user documentation such as Product Data Sheets, Training Instructions and Specifications pertaining to the area of expertise.* Define, explain and implement cost savings, and/or process and procedural improvements.* Provide support to the manufacturing teams and lines.* Use knowledge and experience to assist in validation techniques such as FAT, SAT, IQOQPQ.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
