Part-Time Payroll Manager - Twyford - £40,000 Pro-rata & Hybrid Flexibility Wade Macdonald is thrilled to partner with a highly successful SME organization, based near to Twyford, on the outskirts of Reading. In the midst of their growth, theyre seeking a standalone Payroll Manager to collaborate with the HR team and the ManagingDirector, taking charge of the payroll function.The Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing in-house payroll for all employees
• Keeping the payroll system up-to-date with current wage rates
• Navigating holiday allocations within the HR system
• Commanding the time and attendance system
• Initiating starters and leavers into Sage Payroll
• Expertly handling expense claims, statutory payments, and attachment of earnings
• Completing all RTI submissions to HMRC and Apprenticeship Levy submissions
• Utilizing the BACS system for smooth net salary payments
• Maintaining pension records and orchestrating monthly uploads and payments
• Preparing and distributing pay slips (including P45s and P60s)
• Running end-of-payroll reports for accounts and management audits

The Essential Requirements

• Precision under tight deadlines
• Strong numeracy skills and an eagle eye for detail
• Either possess a payroll qualification or be qualified by experience
• Understanding of the pension auto-enrolment process
• Proficient in all MS Office Packages, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and seamlessly within a team
