Job Description

Project Accountant - 6 month FTC - East Ayrshire (hybrid) - up to £45kDuties

  • Assist in implementation of the 2 new software systems (no prior experience of systems required) and integration with financial data and processes
    • Syrinx - contracts, invoice and customer management
    • Signal - payroll
  • Act as finance team support for the data transfer into new software
  • Reconcile financial data in legacy and new systems to ensure accurate accounts
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes throughout implementation project
  • Provide the Head of Finance and the Group Accountant support within finance department across:
    • Payroll process
    • Fixed asset audit
    • Customer invoicing
    • Production of management accounts
    • Annual auditor queries
  • Additional ad hoc duties as determined by the Head of Finance
Requirements
  • Qualified or part qualified CA
  • Experience with project accountant and contract roles
  • Transactional finance experience in invoicing and payroll
  • Ability to influence and change financial processes and transactional finance staff
  • Ability to take initiative
