Job Description

WelderMonday-FridayHuntingdon£12-17 per hourAre you a passionate Welder, looking for an exciting new roleCoulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Welder to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Huntingdon working as part of their welding team.Principle Responsibilities for the Welder:

  • Working on a range of pressure vessels / screw conveyor and bespoke fabrication in both stainless and mildsteel.
  • Reading blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirement
  • Assisting in the day to day running of the production areas and jobs
  • Upholding the correct use and maintenance of equipment used on the shop floor and site installation / service.
Person specification:-
  • Proven experience as welder
  • 5 years experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
