Job Description

Salary £45k - £55k dependant on skills and experience Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent/hybrid working Location: Peterborough, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Huntingdon, Lincoln, Norwich, ColchesterAnglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be one of our main offices, and providing you can get to the office 1-2 days a week, you could bebased anywhere within the Anglian Water region.We are looking for Wastewater hydraulic modellers with experience in InfoWorks ICM to join our large, diverse and experienced modelling team in Anglian Water. Working within our team you will deliver technical excellence, develop, embed and drive efficiency, consistency, collaborative and innovative ways of working to provide first-class solutions. You will provide technical support and direction across the teamand consultants delivering on our technical ethos and direction.Wastewater Modelling is a core part of both the design of new assets and the analysis and improvement of our existing assets. As a Wastewater Modeller you will gain involvement, support and lead in developing solutions and testing operating scenarios toinform the design of new assets, along with diagnosing performance issues across our existing assets.The role will be instrumental in sharing knowledge, challenging and contributing to our continuous improvement of standards, specifications and processes. The role will support a culture of collaboration and integration, providing exceptional service toour customers, stakeholders and the wider AW business.What does it take to be a Wastewater ModellerTo join us in our quest to consistently deliver modelling excellence to our customers, you will have considerable experience in Wastewater modelling. With a technical expertise of modelling tools and capabilities, youll be able to bring complex informationto life to a non-engineering audience through your strong communication and reporting skills.You will hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or able to demonstrable relevant experience. Chartered or working towards chartership or accreditation with a professional body would be an advantage.You will have experience of Infoworks ICM, InfoAsset, InfoDrainage, MapInfo or ArcGIS as well as an understanding of hydraulic principles.As a Modeller you will be influencing business wide stakeholders at all levels. Your role will be playing a big part in developing and advancing the industrys understanding and utilisation of network modelling methods and outputs.Opportunities are open to candidates with suitable experience and desire to develop.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
