Job Description

A Telesales Executive / Telemarketer is needed to join the team at this leading independent marketing services business based in Huntingdon.They provide sophisticated marketing collateral and print fulfilment services to organisations and leading brands across the UK. Established by the current CEO in 2003, they have grown every year since incorporation and have established an outstanding reputationfor the quality of our work and service levels.They hold people at the centre of what they do, and have exciting expansion plans with an aim to double their turnover in the next few years. Theres never been a more exciting time to join them.About the Telesales Executive / Telemarketer role:They are currently in Year 1 of a 5-year business plan, centred around exciting and ambitious growth across several areas of their business.This newly created role provides a unique opportunity to join their impressive Graphic Services department at the start of their journey and will provide the right candidate with a wonderful opportunity to develop their sales skills and B2B business knowledge.Reporting into the Partnership Director, the telemarketer will become a vital part of their existing sales team by providing their leads with their first point of contact on their journey to onboarding with them.This is a client-facing role so we are looking to recruit a well-rounded, ambitious and sales focused person with experience in conducting high-volumes of calls to a variety of customers.The ideal candidate will have a great telephone manner and will be able to engage in cold calls with confidence. A natural flair for sales and relationship building, our telemarketer will also be tasked with converting a small volume of leads, taking somethrough the entire process until they become business as usual. A demonstrable history of sales conversion would be advantageous.Working to targets each month, this is an opportunity to make a real difference to their projected growth and is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career within a well-established and market leading manufacturing business.Key Responsibilities:

  • To qualify leads based on a tightly defined customer profile and opportunity scoring model
  • To set appointments with the prospects key decision makers and our sales team;
  • To collaborate with our strategic vision and fully engage with the sales process and the areas of responsibility associated with it.
  • To provide our leads with a positive relationship from the outset, offering them excellent product knowledge and support during their first interaction with our business.
  • To work to KPI targets set by the Partnership Director which fall in line with our planned level of growth- there will be the opportunity to earn a bonus with this role.
  • To provide an energetic, sales-focused, and ambitious voice to our sales team with the ability to take the initiative on leads ready for conversion.
  • To become a fully integrated member of our team and work alongside your colleagues to spot opportunities for growth and contribute to wider team activities around existing business.
Required skills:
  • Have a people first approach in all areas of the role, internal and client facing
  • Know how to have question-based conversations, able to draw out the prospects real needs
  • Be a dynamic, highly-driven and ambitious member of their team
  • Be dedicated and organised in your approach to work
  • Have a sufficient working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Hubspot knowledge would be advantageous
  • Be commercially minded, with the ability to take the initiative in sales if presented with the right opportunity
  • Provide their customers with a friendly and engaging first point of contact, with the ability to listen and absorb information and document this as part of the sales process.
  • Have a positive and focused mindset
  • Be honest, driven and willing to work together as a team to complete tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to operate at all levels with colleagues and customer groups.
