We are currently looking for System Support Officer to work within Cambridgeshire County Council ( CCC ). This post is a hybrid - 4 days working from home and 1 day (Wednesday) at New Shire Hall in Alconbury Weald. Potential candidates must be able to travel to Alconbury Weald. They may also be asked to change their working day in the office or attend more often.For the right candidate the position is likely to go from temp to permanent after the initial 13 week period. The role is full time only.Pay rate £12.70Your duties will include:* Act as first point of contact for LGSS systems in order to help system users perform their tasks more effectively, escalating more technical problems to System Support Analysts as appropriate * Perform daily housekeeping activities which support the business processes * Assist with managing the call list, including monitoring calls logged via HALO and managing multiple inboxes* Work as an effective team member assisting and supporting colleagues across the service as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely service delivery. * Utilise effective communication and a proactive approach to ensure collaborative working with colleagues across Business Systems, and wider LGSS departments e.g. User Admin, HelpdesksThe right candidate must:* Have Experience of a customer focused support / technical environment * Be able to plan own workload, prioritise workloads and time with the minimum of supervision * Be methodical worker and able to pay attention to detail * Be able to adapt, react and contribute positively to changes
