Job Description

IS Service ArchitectCirca £51,000Huntingdon - We offer a flexible home/office working option for this role.Permanent - 37 hours per weekAre you an experienced Service Architect who has worked in a SAP service environmentIf so we have an amazing opportunity for you!Anglian Water uses SAP as its core central ERP system, it holds critical data relating to finances, assets, customers and business processes. It is the heart of our IT business landscape and underpins the business operations.Make every drop of your career count! Join our team!Anglian Water are seeking to appoint a IS Service Architect. Anglian Water is embarking on a major SAP Upgrade from ECC6 to S/4Hana to ensure business resilience remains stable and take the opportunity to streamline and automate processes where possible and adopt standard SAP processes. This will be a major business transformation programme as we are adopting a greenfield implementation approach for our core processes and selective custom code for specialist areas such as billing.What does it take to be a IS Service ArchitectYou will lead the service design process for our S/4 Hana implementation, define and implement the end to end service & support model, including designing and establishing the SAP centre of excellence. This will need to align with business requirements to ensure our internal customers receive service design & service management processes which meet their requirements.

  • Develop an understanding of Anglian Waters current user base and IT operational structure and SAP service offerings, solutions and strategic roadmap
  • Work with current SAP support and business teams and resources to understand current service and support challenges, constraints and opportunities to improve
  • Identify and document the future SAP service and support requirements as part of the overall non-functional requirement capture
  • Development of detailed end-to-end service designs for the SAP Centre of Excellence and expand this to the wider IS services, including governance structure, principles processes and procedures
  • Work with AW integration partners and SAP to ensure the Service Design, support model and CoE aligns with their service processes and contractual obligations, specifically ensuring no gaps or duplication
  • Develop and contribute towards the SAP contractual obligations (SLAs and KPIs) and additionally any underpinning contracts
  • Develop and lead a roadmap & plan to transition from the current SAP service and support model to the new service design, aligned with AWs service transition processes
  • Work with Service Transition and Service Operations teams to ensure readiness for take on of the new service and support model
  • Impact Assessment (IA) of current operating and governance models against scope of work
  • Design and implementation of future operating and governance models
  • Define, agree and implement a SAP service catalogue
  • Development and progression of the operational support requirements and service acceptance criteria
