Job Description

Senior Software Developer C#, NET - Permanent - Fully remote - £65k + 15% bonus + benefits37 hours a week, Monday to Friday - Twice a month in the Huntingdon officeBe part of a leading information technology, solutions company building first class internal applications for a wider variety of products. They work extensively across Property conveyancing, residential insurances and utilities.Extensive growth across the business, theyre looking for an experienced Senior Software Developers with excellent C# and .NET skills.As the Senior Software Developer, you will not only participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, but you will bring your experience to the team in shaping what excellent looks like. Technical professional and main reference for the restof the team.Key experience:

  • Strong C# skills
  • .NET core and .NET framework experience including ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience using Entity Framework or other ORM framework
  • A Strong emphasis on clean, testable software using testing frameworks and mocking libraries
  • REST API development experience
  • Front end development experience using a JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue, React, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Familiarity of CI/CD within a cloud environment
  • A strong desire to learn new technical skills and the ability to impart these to others
  • Experience of working in an Agile team
  • Experience of coaching and/or mentoring other developers
  • Experience of architecting software solutions in collaborative environment
  • The ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Desirable:
  • AWS and/or Azure experience
  • Google Maps API/leaflet.js experience
  • Experience with spatial data
  • Experience working with other relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
  • Jira or similar work management system
  • Experience of working in an Agile team
