English Teacher - HuntingdonAre you a qualified English teacher looking for a new challenge Do you have a passion for inspiring young minds and developing their literacy skills If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at Huntingdon Secondary School. You will be teaching English to students from Year 7 to Year 11, following the national curriculum and preparing them for GCSEexams. You will also have full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing lessons, as well as providing pastoral care and guidance to your students.To be considered for this role, you must have:- QTS or PGCE in English or a related subject- A valid enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one- Experience of teaching English at secondary level- Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills- A positive and professional attitude- A commitment to continuous professional developmentThe benefits of working with us include:- Pay from £153 to £211 per day, depending on experience and pay scale- A supportive and collaborative work environment- Access to high-quality resources and facilities- Opportunities for career progression and development- A convenient location in Huntingdon, with easy access to public transport and parkingThe working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 16:00, with occasional after-school meetings and events.
