Job Description

SAP Programme Test ManagerSalary: CompetitiveHuntingdonPermanentThis is an exciting time to join our team as the SAP Programme Test Manager as we embark on a major business transformation programme. Anglian Water uses SAP as its core central ERP system, it is the heart of our IT business landscape and underpins the businessoperations. We are embarking on a re-implementation from ECC6 to S/4HANA, including a strong move to harmonise our business processes by driving to adopt SAP standard.As our SAP Programme Test Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the successful testing of the solution through the cascade of test cycles. You will manage our partner resources and will be responsible for defining the test strategy, plan andapproach. Define the ways of working, governance, lead all test cycles up to and including User Acceptance Testing, and close out all defects.Youll play a key role in ensuring the AWS Test Policy is adhered to and applied appropriately, and that quality of the solution and of testing deliverables is consistently high.What does it take to be a SAP Programme Test Manager

  • Extensive experience in managing Test programmes or portfolios of work with complex test requirements
  • Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation as Test Manager or Testing Lead
  • Demonstrable experience with the interplay between data -migration and test cycles
  • Experience running test cycles using Agile methodology and tools
  • Considerable experience in using HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM), including HP ALM for SAP testing specifically
  • Experience in implementing and maturing processes/methodologies (especially where that experience relates to test process/methodologies)
  • Experience with large scale programmes covering multiple internal teams & multiple vendors
  • Experience in writing test strategies and other test artefacts
  • Experience working within a multi-vendor team structure
  • Experience of working at a management level and advising senior managers & Directors
  • Experience of line management of teams; direct and indirect
