We are passionate about sourcing products from the world’s most sustainable growers and ensuring that our products have strong ethical and environmental credentials.In this exciting role, you will have the chance to build on our strong foundations in sustainability and help us to continue operating to the highest standards as we expand.The RoleAs a Responsible Sourcing Advisor, you will help to manage all aspects of agronomic, environmental and ethical compliance for our growers, direct suppliers and agents.Working with the Sustainable Sourcing Manager, you will embed our sustainability and compliance agenda throughout the business, all the way up to senior management.Some of your duties will include:- Implementing and operating our business compliance system- Supporting our shareholder and partner growers to develop good practices- Ensuring that our list of suppliers and growers meet our high standards- Organising training for staff on compliance issues- Helping to manage our Fairtrade products- Communicating customer requirements to our Procurement and Sustainability Team- Ensuring that systems for environmental and agronomic certification compliance are up to dateAbout YouTo join us as a Responsible Sourcing Advisor, you will need:- Knowledge of sustainability, ethical trade and/or compliance- Experience of managing day-to-day tasks and specific projects, including planning, communication, assessment, data analysis and reporting- Knowledge and experience of using Sedex or a similar platform- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills- A highly organised approach and the ability to prioritise your own workload- A full driving licenceExperience in a similar compliance role would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in the produce sector.
