Job Description

Fixed-Term contract and Permanent opportunities available, based in Huntington!Salary: Up to £55,000 salary, dependent on skills and experienceJoin us at the Utility company of the year 2021, to make every drop of your career count! This role is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of Anglian Waters digital transformation. We are looking for experienced Project Managers, with a proven track record of data and digital change delivery, who can work independently and collaboratively witha range of stakeholders, shaping strategies for workstreams, defining solutions to problems and planning delivery of work. You will be part of a wider programme all working together to meet the goals of the business in the short, medium and long term.What does it take to be a Project ManagerYou will have strong influencing skills and the ability to bring together project sponsors, senior managers, expert advisers, internal staff, contractors and end users to form an effective team focussed on delivery of the projects, reporting to the programmemanager.You will be delivering projects that help to meet our businesses strategic objectives, to an agreed time, cost and quality criteria. You will ensure effective management and control of risk, dependencies and delivery planning and ensure rigorous financialand scope management processes are applied across all workstreams and/or deliverables that fall within the projects defined responsibilities.

  • Drive project delivery with stakeholders and action owners, identify challenges and work to identify solutions to mitigate impact
  • Implement and monitor delivery against approved plans
  • Delivery of financial and non-financial benefits identified in the business case
  • Co-ordinate and manage members of the project team, in order to meet time, cost & Quality.
  • Ensure project risks and issues are identified, managed & mitigation plans are in place
  • Ensure robust financial management of project budgets
  • Ensure a continuous improvement approach to the business process and continually look for ways to improve service, streamlining processes where possible.
  • Work closely with Change Management teams, focused on the people impact to truly embed and adopt any changes.
  • Ability to apply both Agile and Waterfall project management techniques to successfully deliver benefits.
Location:This roles base location is at our office in Lancaster House, Huntington.
