Our Partner is a renowned rubber gasket and sealant operation. They are presently searching for production ops on a Temp to Perm contract at their premises in Huntingdon on nights.. Working under the Shift manager, this position covers all parts of finishing procedures to packing and prepping goods for distribution.Roles and responsibilities:· Machine operation to the defined targets and standards set out by the company· Compliance to health and safety regulations for machine use, including utilisation of PPE provided at all times.· Make sure that product is manufactured in line with the Quality protocols for each item..· Basic quality control of product once unloaded from the press.· Trimming of items to the necessary finished level and log any major discrepancies from planned requirements in regards to hold ups to completion and quantity irregularities.· Making sure that every produced component is correctly packaged and identified at all phases of the finishing process and product packed in line with unique customer requests· Undertake end of shift reports as trained and instructed.Prospective employees will need to be physically competent, speak a respectable standard of English and will preferably have previous work experience in a bustling manufacturing environment.It should be made clear from the outset, the workshop is a Polymers/Rubber environment so you will need to have no issue with the odour of heated rubber if you are to be content working within this company.Working hours -Nights - 22.30 - 06.30 Mon-FriPay starts at £9.20 p/h but rises £9.80 p/h upon completion of training.If this sounds like the job for you, please click apply or call Ryan @ Recruitmint on
