Job Description

c£24k per annum Full or part time12 month Fixed Term Contract Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be Lancaster House, Huntingdon.Supporting the Needs of our EmployeesThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Payroll Team. As our Co-ordinator youll be responsible for administering specified policies, procedure and processes within Payroll Services.Youll be a key relationship builder who will support in providing a timely and accurate monthly payroll; a first line response to employee payroll queries; co-ordinate expense claims; undertake regular audits; support the processing of new starters andleavers along with other payroll administration duties.You will be someone who can maintain accurate and complete data and support with ensuring all customer queries are dealt with effectively through all communication channels. Youll have excellent customer service skills and will be able to provide informationto Line Managers as requested. You will have the experience to process sick pay, maternity/paternity leave and other absence processes.What does it take to be a Payroll Services Co-ordinator

  • Experience of supporting monthly payroll processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to adapt to difference audiences
  • Strong MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of PAYE/HMRC/payroll legislation
  • Experience of HR administration
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet levels of service
  • Ability to deal with customers problems and concerns in a helpful and efficient manner
  • Be able to work to a high standard to maintain accurate and complete data
  • HR systems knowledge preferably using Workday
