Job Description

A role has been newly created for a Payroll and HR Administrator, It is working within the wider Payroll and HR team supporting the Senior Advisor as well as the HR manager running both weekly and monthly payrolls and supporting on transactional HR.   • Approving new starters entered onto the systems.
  • Ensuring leavers are recorded onto the HR/Payroll systems.
  • Calculate all statutory deductions such as new tax codes/Student Loans/Court Orders (AEO’s) onto the payroll system.
  • Monitor all sickness returns received and enter details into the payroll system.
  • Completely all Statutory and Company absence payments
  • Create all necessary manual payments for any adjustments that need to be paid before or after the live runs.
  • To assist with the costing reports
  • To maintain electronic records/filing systems and keep up to date.
  • Complete all HMRC/DSS/Mortgage enquiries.
  • Assist with third party payments.
  • To engage in the implementation of any new business systems as required
  • To administer all HR related documentation such as offer letters, contracts of employment, leavers and variation to contracts.
  • To do Monthly Right to work checks.
  • Administer UCHeck DBS checks
  • Produce Redundancy calculations
  • Complete requests for references for ex-employees
  • To maintain and input data onto core systems and to run monthly HR reports
