PAT Tester & Plant Hire EngineerIndustrial Hire Equipment - Heating, Cooling, Drying & VentilationHuntingdon, Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely, St. Neots, Wellingborough, Thrapston, Bedford£26,000 Basic Salary + Overtime & Bonus + Company Vehicle

The Company recruiting for the PAT Tester & Plant Hire Engineer:A fantastic and well recognised hire equipment supplier, this company have a loyal customer portfolio due to well respected & efficient service delivery. This service provider is looking to recruit their next electrical testing engineer and are offeringthe right candidate great job variety together with industry leading technical product training & career development.The Role of PAT Tester & Plant Hire Engineer:In this role, youll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, delivery, and maintenance on a range of heating, cooling, drying, and ventilation equipment at customers sites. When not in the field, youll be carrying out repairs at the depot. Youllalso carry out calibration, testing and equipment preparation to ensure it is safe to use. The equipment ranges from 110v to 415v, but youll also need to perform mechanical repairs and overhauls too. There is a requirement to visit customer sites after installationto ensure equipment is working as it should across the south of the UK.The Candidate for the PAT Tester & Plant Hire Engineer:You will have previous electrical experience and be familiar working with 3 phase & 110v equipment. Good sound knowledge of factfinding electrical problems and awareness of all health & safety compliance. A mechanical or HVAC understanding as well as electricalknowledge would be highly advantageous. Candidates from an HV electrical fitting background have previously been successful in this role.
  • You will have previous electrical experience including 3 phase & 110v equipment
  • Experience with small plant, pumps, portable HVAC, or generators would be of interest
  • Great team player
  • Manage multiple tasks at once
  • Full UK driving licence
The Package for the PAT Tester & Plant Hire Engineer:
  • Up to £26,000 basic salary
  • Typically, between £200-£300 per month in overtime.
  • Full time, permanent position
  • Vehicle, pension, tools, uniform & full PPE & ongoing training
  • 25 days holiday plus stats
