Circa £40k, dependant on skills and experience PermanentFull time, 37 hours a weekHome working & Huntingdon Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be Henderson House in Huntingdon but you could be located anywhere within the Anglian Water region.Working as a part of the CTO Team and within a team of OT Architects, this role is responsible for guiding, designing and assuring changes to our Operational Technology data architecture. The OT Architects team work across the entire OT landscape, whichincludes sub-domains covering sensing & control, networking and infrastructure & hosting. Data created from our OT systems is vital to the safe and secure continued operation of our business.Reporting to the Platform Architect (OT), the role requires data architecture and data engineering knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the typical data solutions deployed within the water industry. Data is produced and consumed by a range ofdevices with the OT domain, so some understanding of each component, the capabilities they provide, how they operate & are integrated into the OT landscape is beneficial. The OT Data Architect will create and implement OT data standards, ensure the correctgovernance and management is in place and document the as-is data architecture. Activities will also include contribution to the development of technology standards & policies. The role holder will also be part of Communities of Practice, especially architecture,OT and analytics communities, that includes various members of the wider OT teams to ensure that services are delivered, developed, managed & maintained in line with Business needs.The OT Data Architect will use their experience to contribute to research, design and development of solutions for projects. Theyll ensure that designs are presented and reviewed by their peers and that they meet corporate standards and the project requirements.Theyll work with the project manager to plan and implement the data solution. They will also seek opportunities to exploit and optimise existing services for incremental business benefit.The role holder will also engage with project-based Solution Architects to ensure coherence of their solution, adherence to corporate standards & policies & form a clear understanding of business impact & technical dependencies. This will include reviewingand signing off design documentation.It will be important to build & maintain relationships with key vendors, suppliers & market analysts to identify new & emerging data technologies, tools, methods & techniques.
