Job Description

Night Patrol Officer VacancyA reputable housing charity is currently recruiting for a Night Patrol Officer in the Huntingdon area. This would be a temporary to permanent contract and you’ll be required to work 37 hours per week.Length: Temporary to permanentHours: Night shifts – 10pm- 6am and working every other weekendLocation: HuntingdonThe role involves:

  • Providing a night concierge service to residents and visitors within a homeless hostel
  • Controlling access to the building
  • Monitoring CCTV systems to identify any possible incidents
  • Undertaking frequent and regular patrols of the building and monitoring any anti-social behaviour
  • Dealing with health and safety issues
  • Acting as a fire warden in the event of a fire alarm being triggered
  • Contacting the “on call” manager in the event of an emergency or serious incident
    • Additional requirements:
  • Experience in a similar position working night shifts
  • An enhanced DBS ideally from within three years
  • Experience working with vulnerable clients
