Job Description

If you are a part qualified Management Accountant looking for your next challenge then I may have just the right role for you. This position will both challenge and reward you and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller who will guide and mentor you in this exciting commercially focused role. Working onsite in Alconbury with one or two days working from home, the role will be varied and duties will include

  • Production of management information
  • Standard costings
  • Variance analysis and margin reporting
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with the production of annual budgets
  • Balance sheet control accounts
  • Intercompany and stock reconciliations
  • Reviewing systems and suggesting improvements
  • Working closely with Operations team
Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential alongside strong IT skills, notably Excel. This will be a visible role that will involve extensive interaction with non-finance stakeholders and as such the ability to communicate with people at all levels is key. The successful candidate will ideally be studying towards ACCA / CIMA, but candidates who are part or fully qualified AAT with the right experience will also be considered.
