My client based in Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Transport/LogisticsCoordinator to join their team on a full time permanent basis. 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 9am - 4:30pm. Salary will be £25-30,000 depending on experience. Ideallylooking for an immediate start! Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Booking transport for goods to clients (Domestic and International) Booking in materials, consumables and any other items using CRM. Ensuring picked orders are loaded correctly with the correct haulier, and accompanying paperwork Managing the goods in calendar and the flow of trucks in and out. Managing intake and shipping of inventory from Production and Third-Party logistic. Maintaining quality of inventory through appropriate handling and storage Working with supply chain on shortfall on PO, including late and missing POs Communicating with the sales teams to let them know what orders are complete House keeping on the system Assist the team with client issues as and when required Other Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Day to day transport queries -emails/orders/deliveries Attend daily meetings with colleagues Respond to colleagues within 24 hours, ensuring no task goes neglected. Update sales on stock holdings Follow Commercial Managers direction to optimise team and client satisfaction. Resolve client complaints to the mutual satisfaction of both client and company. Attend relevant training courses & develop knowledge, techniques and skills. Adhere to policies & procedures relating to Health & Safety, Quality Management.
