£75k - £80k, salary dependant on skills and experience PermanentFull time / 37 hours a weekHuntingdon & Home workingAnglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be in Huntingdon.We are currently looking for a Lead SAP Solution Architect to join the team on a permanent basis with a deep knowledge and understanding of S4/Hana and experience working in large transformation programmes from ECC6. The Lead SAP Solution Architect willplay a strategic role in our S4/Hana transformation and within our Digital Architecture Practice.The Lead SAP Solution Architect will lead a small team of SAP Architects and has accountability for the overall design of the S4/Hana platform and the SAP solutions delivered by the S4/Hana Programme. They are responsible for translating business requirementsinto digital solutions whilst ensuring design remains in-line with best practice and our core architecture principles.The Lead SAP Solution Architect has the overall functional ownership for SAP, has a deep understanding of the art of the possible and will apply this knowledge during and beyond the transformation programme. The role will hold the vision of where we wantto take our SAP landscape in terms of current and future functionality.The Lead Solution Architect will chair key technical programme design meetings and will represent the Architecture workstream at Programme Meetings with senior business and IS colleagues.What will you be doing

• Responsible for the delivery of the SAP Architecture Workstream within the S4/Hana Programme
• Ensure that the architecture meets the functional and non-functional requirements in line with the agreed AW Business and AWIS Principles.
• Ensure that the architecture complies with the overall AWIS policies and strategies, obtaining authorised waivers where deviation as required.
• Ensure that the architecture is consistent with and supports the productivity and financial performance objectives of the programme.
• Ensure the cohesion of the solution across components, multiple systems, and third party products, services and applications.

What does it take to be a Lead SAP Solution Architect

• Lead the overall Architecture Workstream, including line managing a small team of AW SAP Architects
• Chair the SAP Technical Design Authority and manage the delivery of solution designs within a multi-partner matrix team of Architecture professionals and SMEs
• Naturally collaborative, but at the same time able to stand up Partners and colleagues and strongly argue for technical design / build principles based on sound business and architectural logic. Stay on top of SAP innovation and developments in the marketplace
• Play a leading role in managing our relationship with SAP
• Able to grasp technical concepts and complex architecture quickly and take a holistic view across the organisation.
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts and solutions clearly in simple language to non-technical colleagues.
