IT Support Analyst3 days in officeExperienced IT Support Analyst needed for a busy IT Department to cover 1st 2nd line support along with maintenance and administration of systems.This is a varied role where you will be involved in everything from dealing with support calls from one of the 250 users to software installation, project based work and system administration. This covers technologies such as Azure, Office 365, Active Directory,networking, security, backup, server and laptop hardware. You will* Build and install laptops, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones)* Answering IT requests via phone, ticketing system, email, live chat or instant message * Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems* Maintain installed laptops, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance* Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking Your backgroundYou will come from a varied role and be able to troubleshoot and work with a range of technologies. You will have * Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar providing 1st / 2nd line support to onsite and remote staff.* Good knowledge of system administration within a Windows based environment* Strong knowledge of Office 365 end user applications (Email / Teams / OneDrive), including setup / configuration * Strong knowledge of Azure / Office 365 Administration and usage.* Administration and monitoring of Backups, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Mail filters, Anti-Virus and other operational tools.
