Job Description

Implementation Project EngineerSalary: Up to £45,000Location: HuntingdonMy client, a leading Managed Service Provider, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Implementation Project Engineer to join their team. The IT Implementation Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing and executing complex ITprojects, ensuring the successful implementation of various systems, applications, and technology solutions.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end IT implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, and regularly monitor progress to ensure project goals are met.
  • Provide technical leadership in the design, configuration, and deployment of IT solutions, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the projects technical aspects meet the required specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements and expectations, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project updates and status reports.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project success.
  • Proactively address any issues that may arise during the implementation process, finding timely and effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
  • Keep accurate records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes for reference and reporting purposes.
