3C ICT is our shared IT service between Cambridge City Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The shared service was established to provide a more efficient way of delivering ICT services across the three partnercouncils and has now matured into a reliable and efficient operation.Our team of 70+ staff provide a range of services from digital development and integration, to server management and maintenance as well as standard desktop and business application support. On a day-to-day basis, we manage and deliver all the IT systemsand services needed by our partners and customers. We are a modern IT Operation utilising Office 365, Microsoft Azure, DevOps and other up to date applications.We are looking for experienced leaders to join a new/developing team within the 3C ICT Shared Service. Each leader has their own distinct deliverables within their projects with a focus on strong leadership, excellent delivery experience and active/positiveinput with Project Stakeholders and Project Boards.This is an exciting, varied and challenging role supporting 3Cs Shared Services vision and delivering critical, customer-facing services.You will work collaboratively with colleagues to track associated change and delivery activities against the broad scope of projects we are responsible for.You will shape, deliver, and optimise these services and enhance functionality, driving value for money and ensuring suppliers are managed effectively.You will also manage resources to ensure adequate skills and expertise are shared to provide cover across the full set of services and support functions.The ideal candidate will understand service needs and business impact, proactively managing services, leading issue resolution, and responding at pace to demands in the live environment. You will be pragmatic and persuasive with strong negotiation skillsto influence and challengeKnowledge of public sector services and professional experience or relevant qualifications (either academically or by professional body) are preferred but ultimately we are seeking someone who is able to manage multiple projects and a self-motivated teamplayer with good written and interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve.Whilst there is a high level of responsibility attached to this role, you will be fully supported throughout, with a focus on your personal and professional learning and development.If you think you can do this role and want to make a difference and improve services provided to local communities and businesses, please apply.
