Job Description

If you have a passion for precision, an eye for detail,and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards, we want to hear from you.Specific Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • Ensure timely MOT preparations, services, and repairs for all vehicles in line with DVSA and Operators Licence requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards, completing relevant paperwork for compliance.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, proactively addressing any concerns.
  • Operate MHE in adherence to standard procedures (when applicable).
  • Report accidents promptly and as per company protocols.
  • Adhere to company policies, including uniform and health & safety guidelines.
  • Ensure the use of food-safe chemicals for work within fridge trailers and report any potential food safety concerns.
  • Maintain a full audit trail of work, whether electronically or on paper, for consistent review.
  • Respond to relevant management requests as guided by your Line Manager.
Internal Interfaces: Engage with Drivers, Driver Representatives, Planning, Operations, Transport teams, the Training Department, and other relevant internal teams.External Interfaces: Collaborate with the MOT Centre and Suppliers.Statutory Duties:
  • Uphold all legal obligations and work cooperatively with the employer.
  • Prioritize personal health and safety, as well as the well-being of colleagues.
  • Highlight any potential risks or issues to your Line Manager.
  • Always work competently, safely, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Guarantee adherence to product safety, legality, and quality systems when handling food products.
