Join Anglian Water to help make a difference and provide a vital serviceWe have an exciting opportunity for a Group Internal Auditor to come and join our Finance team. As our Group Internal Auditor, your day-to-day task will be in the execution of the Internal Audit plan, liaising with the Head of Integrated Assurance to delivera risk-based audit plan to IIA standards as well as working collaboratively with the Group Internal Audit Manager to provide support throughout audits and reviewing of individual work.As a member of the Internal Audit team you will be supporting or leading delivery of individual audits to quality and time in line with Audit Committee commitments, linking with management to agree and follow-up on recommendations that arise from audit activityand providing regular and ad-hoc reporting of audit activity.You will also be developing and documenting the understanding of major business processes, identifying key risks and key controls required to mitigate the risks, following up on key actions agreed, monitoring, and reporting upon their completion and highlightingdelays or concerns.A key part of this exciting role is to develop and perform appropriate testing strategies to assess effectiveness of key controls and carry out project assurance work in various departments across the Group.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
