Job Description

Circa £30k, salary dependant on skills and experiencePermanentFull time, 37 hours a weekOffice & Home working - Peterborough, Huntingdon, Wisbech or Lincoln (base location depending on your location)Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location can either be in our Lincoln, Huntingdon, Wisbech or Peterborough office, with the expectation of 2-3days in the office.Dive into the world of water!The Geospatial Data and Assurance Analyst is part of the wider Asset Intelligence function, reporting to the Geospatial Data Manager. The Data and Assurance analyst is responsible to ensure data quality and quantity against the CARTIE model for all InfrastructureData held in the Gwater Databse. They need to provide information on the data model to Key Stakeholders.What will you be doing

  • Responsible for the quality of Master Data within GIS
  • Work closely with our offshore teams to ensure the work set is delivered to a high-quality standard.
  • Using the CARTIE model to help improve Data Capture and associated Data Quality
  • Working with the Geospatial System Expert and Geospatial Technicians to identify data quality issues, perform Root Cause Analysis and Correcting in the most appropriate and efficient way.
  • Key contributor for proactive data quality improvements for new and existing data and information.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Data Standards and definitions for asset creation and ensure they are published and reviewed.
  • Key contributor for geospatial data across AW systems
  • Carry out data assurance checks and gap analysis on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to exploit the data that exists in our Gwater model
  • Visualisation of geospatial information so that it is relevant, in context and consumable
  • Carry out analytical analysis on geospatial data as required
  • Support to business resilience and AWF where necessary
