Finance Business PartnerMM Flowers is a dynamic growing business supplying fresh cut flowers and bouquets from all over the world to the retail sector across the UK and Europe.The company operates from a state-of-the-art facility in Alconbury, Huntingdon and is embarking on its next phase of growth as a leading firm across the industry.MM Flowers are seeking to add to the team, a Finance Business PartnerJOB TITLE: Finance Business PartnerREPORTING TO: Senior Finance ManagerDEPARTMENT: FinanceLOCATION: Alconbury, HuntingdonMAIN PURPOSETo partner with key internal stakeholders in delivering financial growth and budget attainment within the business. To produce analysis and provide insight to help key stakeholders around the business understand the financial impacts of commercial decisions. This will also include providing support in financial planning/forecasting.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Working closely with key stakeholders providing financial analysis and support to the business.- Production of weekly trading report analysing business performance across customers. Identify and highlight key weekly trends and recommendations to be communicated to key stakeholders and directors.- Identify SKU level performance and customer profitability and feed into the NPD and commercial selling plans providing robust ROI and sensitivity analysis.- Creation and maintenance of forecast models. Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.- Understand the financial impact of promotional activity and the impact on own manufacturing margins. Communicate this to relevant stakeholders to enable better decision making.- Work alongside analytics and BI functions to drive improvements in insight, reporting and processes.- Work closely with the financial control team on Management Accounts accuracy and insightSKILLS & EXPERIENCE:- Newly Qualified or Final Stage accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)- More than 2 years experience in similar role within a commercial organisation- Higher level understanding of Excel is essential.- Ability to design, create and interpret complex data sources and present findings to key stakeholders is essential.What are we looking for- Analytical - the ability to analyse, interpret and present financial and business data and able to convert data into insights.- Organisational skills - personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key.- Communication skills - managing diverse personalities and viewpoints.- Commercial acumen - to get involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer.- Role modelling - demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation
