They offer a wide range of high-quality equipment, including lifts, hoists, and platforms.With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and safety, we are seeking a skilled Field-based Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team based in Bedford. The Package:· 33 days holiday (Including Bank Holiday) after 1 years service.· Overtime paid @ 1.25x on weekdays, 1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays· Door to door paid· Company vehicle· Huge Earning potential with average earnings for engineers exceeding £50,000 per annum· The opportunity to work for an globally recognised, stable and growing organisation.· Full internal training & development alongside comprehensive training coursesResponsibilities:o Install, commission, and service vertical access equipment such as lifts, hoists, and platforms at client sites in and around the Bedford area.o Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.o Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacementso Collaborate with the service team to develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement maintenance plans.o Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear instructions on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.o Maintain accurate records of equipment servicing, repairs, and inventory levels. Requirements:o Proven experience as a field-based technician or engineer, preferably in the vertical access equipment industry.o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.o Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.o Electrically or mechanically competant - previous fitting, assembly or working with 3 phase controls would be advantageouso Full Drivers Licenseo A good level of communication is essentialo Basic electrical/mechanical fault findingo Previous experience working as a field based engineer, lift engineero NVQs / City & Guilds would be advantageous Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
