An exciting time to join Dreams as part of the home delivery center in Huntingdon Supporting the Service Centre Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the day to day management operation of a busy Distribution Service Centre. You`ll take ownership and responsibility to inspire, motivate and coach the team to provide the highest level of customer service. It`s a great place to work, where we recognise and celebrate success.-Ensure all KPI`s are kept up to date and correct daily -Manages inventories and stock inbound and outbound, including keeping detailed records of inventory row/bay checks, and advising management where necessary of any shortages or issues -Daily liaison with UK suppliers and reconciliation of supplier booking-in requests though Navision (internal system) -Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks -Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training -Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to Company regulations and performance goals -Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations -Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines -Ensures Company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards -Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints -Any other tasks, duties, ad hoc distribution activities and accountabilities appropriate to the role and positionYou`ll need to have: -IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook -Previous management experience, gained in a similar role -Proven experience of coaching and developing a team Working pattern: 5 days per week between Monday - Saturday What we can offer you: - Competitive salary - A non- contractual Bonus Scheme - 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays - Onsite free car parking - A generous staff discount - Pension - Life Cover - Training and development If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment where two days are never the same, we would be delighted to receive your application.
